Manta club nights are every Wednesday 8-30 ‘till 10-30. We often have classroom lessons 8-30 -9-30, and use of the pool 9-30 to 10-30. We also have the use of the sauna and steamroom. Afterwards we retire to the Castle Pub for a little drink or two…………….
ARE YOU ALREADY QUALIFIED?

Did you learn on holiday? NAUI, PADI, SAA, TDI, IANTD, we would welcome you to come and join us.

You can come and dive with us as you are, or join a cross over course, and we will take you ‘that bit further’. With our regular courses, (all taught at cost) you can get back in the water, and advance your diving. We can organise NITROX courses, Boat handling, Navigation, Advanced Diving, and many of these in house.

Manta divers have been based within Tooting Leisure Centre for over 15 years. We’re part of the British sub-aqua club, the sports governing body. The club is 28 years young!

Manta has over 50 members, actively diving in and around the UK. Our members range from novice through to Advanced Instructors.

Manta has 12 sets of scuba kit, to loan out when were teaching, or for members to hire. We have oxygen therapy kits, gas blending sets, and the biggest bestest RIB. A 6m Humber, with 115hp engine, equipped to the latest safety spec. We can use the boat for teaching and dive trips.


This year alone Manta have been away diving in Plymouth, Lyme Bay, Brighton, Wales, Cornwall, and several trips on our own boat. We’re ending this season with a large trip to the Scilly Isles.
