Stoney Cove
If you've not dived it you're not a proper diver. Training levels at 7m, 20m and
35m. Planes, helicopters and a giant tug. All the facilities
Wraysbury Pit
The mud pit from hell, but nice and close at Heathrow. 12m max and great for
training dives
Swanage Pier
An old favourite. Plenty to see. A great night dive. And the obligatory John
Dory
Brighton/Hove beach
Easy access and you may see some cuttlefish or flatties
Fleur de Lys.
A small trawler in Swanage bay. Vis is normally good, lots of fish and fun
Betsy Anna
A club favourite, On her side and broken in 25m of water, great for an explore
and some nice congers in the boilers
Kyarra, Swanage
Doesn't everybody do this wreck. Great dive in 30m
Aeolian Sky,
Dorset
BIG, almost intact, BIG, lots of goodies in the holds including Land Rovers,
BIG, masses of twisted metal and did I say it's BIG!
James Eagan Layne, Plymouth
Old favourite at 24m
Salsette, Weymouth
P&O liner at 48m, 52 to the bottom. Dark and mysterious
P555, Weymouth
Hey, an almost intact submarine sitting upright on the bottom at 45m
